How about "You Can Do It" with Ms. Toi.. ??
If Ice Cube goes the LL route, I don't even wanna hear it, he'll ruin his legacy.

he didnt really stay on subject, just like pac in a lot of his songs about women. i dont mean do a whole album, but 1 track like snoop on "beautiful" would be tight
"House shoes & coffee: I know the paper gone come"

And what's with that little beef Cube and Sam Jackson had? Did they squash that before the movie was done or no comments about it were made?

yup.. "You can tell Samuel L I'm a keep actin.." in Lightz Out. Samuel Jackson said somethin like there shouldn't be rapper-actors in the industry

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

Nima qucik interview ice cube and tell him his fans dont wanna hear him on those lil jon, neptunes, swizz beats tunes.

I fuckkin knew he was gonna work with lil jon couldnt be avoided coz cube wants Lil Jons crunk audience which is big right now. Neptunes they helped fuck up snoops sound further and now looks like cube is gonna be served some freindly music mtv hits. Those beats they gave cube in the past were wack. Nobody works with Swizzz Beats anymore not even DMX!

Cube said this was gonna be his most personal record yet it looks like hes just trying to cash in with pop-hop singles to chop the charts, get that mtv teenager crowd.

Look how Fredwreck laced him with 'Gangsta nations' one of cubes best song in years,a hit that made money and was the strongest cut on the Terrorist Threats album. Its producers like that we want. He might get Dre for one song if egos arent gettin in the way.

Cubes become a movie star and hardly laces his 'real' fans with anything good on the musical side anymore, after all this wait even though he dont wanna make another AmeriKKKas most or Death certificate you would think he would be smart enough to choose producers that will gve him quality music. Coz we all fuckin know whats up.

Ive bought every cube album since i was a kid and play his earlier shit heavily still today like a lot of others. I just know this record is gonna be faded if he goes with what the industry dictates and plays on the radio.

Saddest news ive heard this year coz his music meant a lot to me.

He would still hit platinum if he kept it real with with his choice of producers coz a lot of people wanna hear him return to form, all that pop audience will still buy his music regardless.

What a great year it could of been. Looks like George lucas has returned to form with episode III, Dres gonna drop another classic with Detox 8) and ice cube is gonna lace us with lil jon, neptunes, swizzz beats. :'(

Here's how ya need to look at it

Yes he needs to have Dr. Dre, Mel-Man, Sir Jinx etc. whatever on his beats. But the hasn't dropped an album in like 7 years or so. And War & Peace were good albums but flops considered to his other albums. He wants this album to sell and one way to do that is get new production. A production team that wil get the attention of the younger audience who weren't raised on NWA, 2pac, Eazy-E n shit.

And I don't know if this is his last album, but let's say it is, would u want your last album to push big units?

For ice cube that shit was wack. Dolla bill was listenable but the remix attempt of straight outta compton is straight up headache noises.
