People who were at that forum remember tracking every move Dre made for about a year in a half until his album finally dropped.  I remember they had some real exclusive news at that forum about anything Aftermath related, they also had exclusive audio, I remember three of the best unreleased songs I've ever heard were over at that forum.......

Anyone else remember these hard to find unreleased tracks over at DreDay?

"The Throne Is Mine"... anybody remember that song?  Almost a year before Dre's album dropped. It had Royce Da 5'9" rappin' Dre's part in the studio, to a song that never made the album, but it's a song I think could have been the biggest track on the album!   It had Dre reclaimin his throne in hip-hop.

"Our House"-  Eminem-  This song could have easily been a single, it was a sick remake of that old song everyone knows, Eminem was replaying a scene in his life from when he was a child... and in the end he gets kicked out...... "Someday Bitch Your Gonna Paaaaaaaay!!/Please Mom, Please Mom, I wanna staaaaaaaay!"

"Exxxplosive (Origional)"-  This song was out on that site almost a year before Dre's album dropped, and it had Dre droppin all the versus, about Pimpin in the highschool hallways, and had Royce on the hook.

............it also released Eminem's "Kim" track a year before Marshall Mathers LP was released, and the site had an origional version of "What's The Difference" with Hittman instead of Xzibit and the origional version of "Forgot About Dre" (which was almost identical to the real version, again, out nearly a year before the album)...and other West Coast exclusive tracks they had before everyone else like "Dope Beat" by Warren G, etc.

.........There was a forum there too with dedicated Aftermath fans back when most heads elsewhere wouldn't give Eminem his respect and had turned their backs on Dre and labeled him a relic.  Anyway, I just felt like reminiscing.  Peace.

I heard that song on Kazaa. Isn't that Fred Durst singing the hook?

Yeah, that was Fred Durst but really anybody could of sung that hook, it was pretty basic, "Our house/ In the Middle of the Street/ Our House/  In The Middle Of The Street/"---doesn't take much.

I used to post on Dre Day as 'PsyCreate' before the Overseer alias was born..

There is a historical path that runs from Dre Day.

Dre Day -> Dre2001 -> West Coast Affiliates Forum -> Ex West Coast Affiliates Forum -> West Coast Connection Forum

btw I have all those songs

Exxxplosive (original) is BS.. its called Way I Be Pimpin and was leaked several years later.. there are TWO versions of this song.. one has a movie sample in the middle which i think is from Willie Dynamite but i'm not 100% sure about that

there was also a track called "Make Money" with tubular bells in the back.. it was tagged as being by RBX but it was also by Royce.. "all that i wanna do is make money / thats all that i wanna do"

there is also the original version "whats the difference" with hittman instead of xzibit

It was a real simple but still cool site. The forum was even simpler. It wasnn't even a forum. It was a message board at
insidetheweb.com. Only name on there I remember was "SnoopDreEminem'. Or was it "DreSnoopEminem"?
IS DETOX NEXT? Don't think so.

Yeah, I put the track down as "Exxxplosive (Origional)" above, but it was called "Way I Be Pimpin" on DreDay, Royce was singing the hook, "I might make it look easy/ It's just the way I be Pimpin/ Makin my money/ It's just the way I be Pimpin".... and that Royce track "Money" was hot... infact I really thought Royce was going to be the next superstar back then.

btw, Overseer, you rememember me on that site, I think my name was infinite59 back then, I used to make all those posts about Eminem.

yeah i remember i used to check that site every single day. it was the shit and got me hyped up for the Dre album. all these exclusive news that came in almost on a daily basis. but you have to understand that Dre Day was practically the only source to serve news so almost anything seemed exclusive, which nowadays is probably a regular news report like "Dr. Dre produces for Gwen Stefani" or something

SnoopDreEminem aka SDE

the guy who ran DreDay has been over here a few times.. he was planning on restarting the site

SDEs kinda vanished... i used to connect with him on the music video level.. i was deep in that scene many years ago before getting into this site shit.. places like with HHV (#hiphop-videos) and #jamzone run by Warrier n them... i had my own shit called #mpg-style which was a behind the scenes hookup spot for video server operators to trade behind the scenes. my idea was people serving got the in public channels should get the rips first to help spread then.. unfortunately a bunch of losers got invited by guys i was closer with and fucked it all up.. UVZ was born out of the seeds of some of that stuff..

all this time i was starting to get into rap more again (this was around 1998) and i started posting on dreday and 2001 forums.. then end of 1999 dreday forum was kinda falling off and dre2001 forum blew up huge... (dre's album dropped nov 1999) a bit after that narrator (aka so much style on this forum)  started up "chronic overload" i had a problem with his attitude and fell he was trying to take advantage of people.. so i stayed out.. i was right.. i was connect to people who he became enemies of.. b-please of wc killaz and jaymastajay from shiznit/thugpound. i eventually created this Overseer alias purely to use as a tool to show this dude how things _should_ be run... i started "igangsta.com" which was a stab at fakes online.. did my best to post my shit first on my site and credit the sources.. so when my shit sstarted being stolen by Chronic Overload too.. i unveiled my alter-ego.. now everyone was cool with 'psycreate' turns out Overseer was the same dude.. now this guy who'd been a silent factor suddenly had backing, proof and i wasnt happy.... then after that someone fucked over CO.. i still dont know to this day who locsta was... i think it was him but narrators own staff gave up the passes.. (that krazy qban guy gave it to engies)

shortly after all this i kept my news page running.. and b-please put me on with a job at NWA2K.. dre2001 and NWA2k were popping off all the hype off the up in smoke tour..  then in jan 2001 we started a central forum for NWA2K/WC Killaz etc to use .. which ended up after a bumpy start being this..

Which reminds me, Remember Dre's old official site?  That message board over there was hot for minute.

I used to have a few sites I was loyal to back in 98/99...

#1.  Dreday.com
#2.  Bodyrott's Eminem forum
#3.  Dre2001
#4.  Eminem's official site-  (Great for audio, sometimes less is more, because that old site was way better than the site he has now that he's blown up)
#5.  Dre's official site and forum

..........This was back when all the industry was all about Ruff Ryders and Cash Money Records (I don't know why) and these were the only sites that were following the moves of Aftermath and Aftermath affiliates.

dreday.com forum was the shit, its hard 2 believe that shit was like 6 years ago, i used 2 post as Madbeatz99.....that forum was also hilarious everyone kept hyping up 2001 saying all types of crazy shit like Dre bought an unused Notorious BIG verse and was gonna be puttin it on 2001,,,,i wish i could go back and see that board and the shit posted on it.

there was also another 2001 leftover many people forgot it was called "stay in your place" which also had Royce rapping Dre's part, it was a cool track, it had alot of guitars over it, ima see if i still have those somewhere......
