Dre & Cube's "Helter Skelter" album article
« on: May 15, 2005, 01:53:46 PM »
I remember probably around 10-11 years ago there was an article in the Source magazine with Dre.  He was on a boat in Hawaii or some place like that and Dre had mentioned that him and Cube had finished 2 tracks for "Helter Skelter."  Those 2 tracks were "U Cant See Me" and another one entitled "Gimme 50 Feet."  We all know 2pac was given the "U Cant See Me" song but what the hell happened to "Gimme 50 Feet?"  Anyone know?

Most likely, it's an unreleased track that we'll never hear. "U Can't C Me" was originally a beat for the Dre\Cube project, then for the Dogg Pound, before finally it was given to Pac. The DPG version leaked.

Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program

Where does the phrase 'gimme 50 feet' come from?

'Cos Pac says it on All Eyez On Me ("gimmie 50 feet, defeat is not my destiny")... seeing as he took Cali Love and Can't C Me from Dre during that period, seems like he took that idea too...?

Dre n Cube hooked up with George Clinton along with Yo-yo around that g-funk era time for that song 'Paint the white house black'
