Haven't ya'll heard about this shit? It's apparently really crazy, I'm not there so I can't speak on it but it is serious... So i wouldn't really clown it, there's alotta of tension between blacks and mexicans right now from what is being reported and people from there are saying.

my point is, theres ALWAYS tension. And theres ALWAYS incidents. And the only ones who keep buildin this shit up bigger then it is, arent even involved in it. Most of my homies in LA are black. And not ONE of em says that anything really different is goin on. Its all some hype, and its all just kids. That cinco de mayo shit was some internet bullshit, and nothing really went down. Now every incident that goes down between a black and a mexican, is gonna be blown up as "Black/Mexican tension" lol.

There was a reported "Hit" on all Blacks on Cinco De Mayo (May 5th). Since then, a lot of people in the STREETS have been blowing it out of proportion, using it as a reason to fight.

This shit all started with the media. There wasn't really anything out of the normal going on, just the typical fights between students. The media then started talking about "race wars" between Blacks and Mexicans, only after this was done did you see tensions rise. Gangs bought it the most and started their shit, now its gotten into the schools. Its sad how easily the media can manipulate the public, its even more sad how the public accepts what the they offer. The media is loving this too, what they're reporting pretty much comes down to "n*ggers vs. sp*cs: we told you so" and if you don't believe this then you're blind to the world. Nobody is really offering a solution or attempting to investigate the situation fully, only the violence is shown. The only thing that has been done is the implementation of 3 more cops in ONE school. You guys gotta stop this "blacks are better" or "mexicans are better" type of mentality because you're only contributing to this manipulation. Stop being the ignorant group of people we are shown to be and start acting like the intelligent individuals you all are.

When i was a Senior a South Gate High School where the population is 99.999999999999 latino there was no tension between the 2 black students and the latinos.   


at the same time there was a huge rumble between latinos and blacks but wtf thats normal at Jordan on Alameda St.  What is stupid is how students respond when a newsreporter asks them a question like...
Q:Why is there tension between blacks and latinos?

Worse case i heard from Jordan HS is a latino getting a broken nose after being jumped by 3 black guys, not evne in the news but from friends that go to the HS.  But like its been stated in this thread...its always been like that and i guess its tough to know if its really getting worse

All im sayin is, every last one of the people i know in LA say theres NOTHING happenin. Theres little ass incidents here and there....which arent even more then usual. The ONLY people pretending like this is some sorta motion picture are a few geeks on here that happen to be from the LA area and want to feel "close to the action". Its all overblown, its all hype, and everybody needa either calm down or just get a life lol. People are acting like blacks and mexicans had some longstanding love for eachother in LA, before May 5th lol. Theyve had funks for decades....now all of a sudden, anytime something happens its because this Cinco De Mayo shit. lol. I guess the old news was getting boring, so this makes it more exciting
