What's the problem with Aftermath and Dre ?

I mean this label didn't released an album on its own since 2002 (Truth Hurts), outside the usual Shady/Aftermath or G Unit/Aftermath. I was reading a Bizzare interview on Ballerstatus and it came the usual answer " don't have a Dre beat coz it's too busy". What is he doing outside mixing albums (though it takes some time) and co producing a few beats? Plus when the Busta cd gonna come out ? I guess 2007

Dre did a track for Gwen Stefani. But thats the thing about Dre. He keeps himself fresh and original by not putting out beat after beat after beat. Theirs like 10 Dre songs a year, and their all hits cause ppl aren't getting tired of him. But I agree, Encore was done poorly, the Doc was fine, the Massacre needed more Dre, Busta comes out in June/July, Eve will never come out, and Detox will start in the summer. But hell, Dre needs to join up Snoop/DPG with the west coast movement.

Encore was an Aftermath only album, and The Documentary and The Massacre were released on Aftermath/G-Unit and Aftermath/Shady.

What's the problem? I think we all agree that Dre and Snoop & Tha Dogg Pound would once again make a perfect team, but it seems like that's not really going to happen the way they did it in the 90s. It's true, Dre is keeping his music exclusive by not putting out much, and that way he's also controlling the quality of the beats some more.

Busta is coming out on July 19 - don't worry because that's a fact. I don't really see what's the problem here.

Dre takes his time to deliver quality material. You can't call him lazy, seeing as how we got albums from Em, Game and 50 all within the span of less than 6 months. That's remarkable considering it's Aftermath.
