Help identifying a song...

I heard this song on the radio a couple of times, it sounds like Green Day, but I'm not sure of it. The chorus goes 'Cuz she's got a boyfriend, who looks like a girlfriend...' or something like that. The singing is melodic, one note goes '...place like this'...I'm sorry for being vague, anyone can help me out?
