this is good for LA, but only if they still make some big moves. This current team still goes nowhere. Even Phil said it would be "amazing" if they could contend for a championship by his 3rd year of the contract.
it will be interesting to see them on the court again with one another. But i honestly don't see the Lakers winning a championship with that roster. Just too many good teams out in the west. The Spurs alone will stop the Lakers from reaching the finals. They need 2 good role players along with a decent center to be considered championship material IMO.

And he did say..."its a 3 year contract, and it would be amazing if we could win one by the 3rd year. Winning a championship isnt the reason i came back" Take it how u want, but that is what he said.
