Alicia Keys - You Don't Know My Name

this song has it all from start to finish. as far as new era R&B goes, nothing came close to this imo (not counting the aretha franklins and marvin gayes), meaining the last 15 years.

If you say just soul than I can agree with you, but you said R&B and than there is just too many shit that can't be overlooked the last 15 years.

Alicia Keys is a great artist and she got something that i can´t really put my finger on that no other RnB artist has. John Legend and Alicia Keys brought some real talent back to the table. they aint gonna run around and strip and try to live off their sex appeal like so many other RnB artists(Beyonce,Tyrese,Usher etc etc).

what I like about Alicia is that she stays true to herself and is very soulful, while other artists are more prone to follow trends or let the music overpower their vocals.  I think "You Don't know My Name" is a really nice track, but "Fallin" is still her most classic record though.

Musiq Soulchild's Soulstar album was highly slept on, Alicia Keys is tight as fuck tho but I think "Used to Love U"  rivals "You Dont Kow My name".  Get Lifted and Diary are two of the greatest RnB Albums of the last 10 years imo Get Lifted>>>Diary of Alicia Keys

yea can´t forget about John Legend. can´t forget about Anthony Hamilton neither coz he´s also another "true" RnB/soul singer.

R. Kelly has had a few really good hits

If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time   is a really good, emotional heartfelt song i.m.o.
