The Game's New Footwear Blows Thru Like A "Hurricane"

[Stone Cold is Bout It, Bout It]

The Game has partnered with 310 Motoring to create a signature sneaker line dubbed "Hurricane."

The "Hurricane" model will mark 310 Motoring's first steps into athletic footwear. To date, the company had made upscale footwear and apparel. The shoe is slated to hit stores nationwide for the 2005 Holiday season. 310 is set to follow up the athletic shoe with a performance basketball sneaker in the first quarter of 2006.

Game, who is a close friend of NBA guard Baron Davis, played shooting guard for Compton High School and briefly went to college on a basketball scholarship before succumbing to the temptations of the streets. Game's partnership between 310 Motoring began before the rapper inked with Aftermath. Then unsigned, Game befriended 310 Motoring founder Marc Laidler back in 2001.

"I'm excited to be working with 310 and Marc Laidler, someone I've admired for a long time, on my own sneaker," The Game stated. "With the Hurricane sneaker, I'm moving beyond just being an entertainer and becoming an entrepreneur. As an athlete and a sneaker fan, I'm ready to drop my own completely original design – an essential, multipurpose shoe. We're bringing together the two biggest names from LA to make the hottest shoe in the country!"

I went to NY for the sole purpose of going to the Rucker. There is security there with or without rappers being there. The Rucker may be world reknowned, but it is still a basketball court by the projects.
Anyway, I'm glad he found a way to get some more money, but I can't Stan like that. Never have for ANY artist.
