Let's be honest. Tom Cruise or no Tom Cruise, Katei Holmes was not going to be in the sequel. Bruce Wayne never has a long term love interest. He's the billionaire playboy. Using the same girl in two movies is a spit in the face to fans of Batman. I'm glad they aren't bringing back Katie's character. Not because I don't like Katie Holmes, but because she has no place in another Bat film.
