I am tired of hearin about Bay vs. LA shit. I can't speak for every single person in LA, but I'll say this. I grew up in LA, born and raised, and I'm black and grew up around all races, and I NEVER knew there was any kind of tension between LA and the Bay. One main reason is obviously because LA itself is so damn divided, and it's not even united enough to want to have "beef" or tension with another city or section of the state you know? Plus, most people in LA have family in the Bay, so why the hell would they beef with them? I didn't grow up on all the same Bay music that they grew up on, but we treat Too Short, 40, Spice 1, and a grip of others as if they were from LA, meanin we could care less if they are Bay or not.

I got love for the Bay, but bein 110% honest, I really feel many people from there, especially jus regular dudes who don't rap or aren't famous, feel they have to over-compensate themselves because of the fact that LA gets the most attention and recognition for bein gangsta n shit. I go to a college in Florida, and in general, the Bay and LA are always on some love-hate shit it seems. I don't have any kind of probs with dudes from there...however, when I say many of them over-compensate themselves, it's a fact when you see and hear them. "People think LA is real...they ain't ever been to the Bay. The Bay is REAL, it's real niggas in the bay and they don't trip over that blood and crip shit, they'll merk you cause they just real niggas" and all type of ignorant shit that they say, as if that makes them look hard, or as if I should really care who has the hardest "niggas" aka ignorant black men. Plus, many of them hate when they tell people out here that they are from California, and they are like "oh 4 real? you from LA, Inglewood, Compton, Long Beach???" and they are like fuck no, I'm from Oaktown, Fairfield, etc. etc. But at the same time...whenver somebody says "Fuck Cali" or "fuck the west coast" the bay, LA, and whoever else link up quick as hell to lay a beat down. So that's just how it goes.

Also, to dude who started the topic, sayin that Bay niggs laid out some LA niggs doesn't mean SHIT, because it's bitch niggas from LA, from the Bay, from NY, Atl, Chicago, and everywhere else in the world. I'm sure it's some people from Idaho who could serve a grip of weenie ass dudes in LA...LA is fuck'n 500,000 niggs, so of course 100% of them ain't hard as hell. That type of generalizin is always ignorant. And believe me, people in LA love a whole lot of Bay area music. Most of the time, if a song is hot as fuck, we could care less if it's LA or Bay. I've seen females in LA get crazy as fuck to "hoes in here" and "Hyphy" since so many Bay people go to Cal St. Northridge, Loyola, USC, and Long Beach State.

In Summary.......THERE IS NO LA VS. THE BAY SHIT GOIN ON!!! So we can retire this argument, and leave this thread up only so people can respond by saying the same as me.
