the different colored album cases represented the dope game..n the colors represented the artist product..jus like the different color crack vials or weed baggies repped different dealers product

when the tank got to rollin everybody went gold or platinum..n they were all no names

Not entirely true. Snoop wasn't off of Death Row, he was stuck there. Suge was locked up and it was a bad time to be over there by most accounts so P cut a deal with Suge to bring him over to No Limit.
