His work from '94-'96 was worthy of super-producer status. I don't know how much Dre, Soopafly, etc. helped him cause I wasn't there but those beats are timeless and in the credits it says produced by Dat Nigga Daz.

Nigga, you don't live with me and you don't know what show I saw or where I read that. He said that he produced all of that shit. If u look up Daz on urbandictionary.com, there is a definition that says he is a crackhead and some allude to that on this site. So, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he indeed say that at one point in time. Nigga, get off Daz's dick! The way you on his dick must really hurt your knees!

Good point.

His beats during that area could rival any other producer that was on top during that area, such as Organized Noise, No Joe, The RZA, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Ant Banks, DJ Pooh, and of course Dr. Dre and DJ Quik.

Daz did have a lot of help, since many of his tracks were mixed by Dre, Quik, even DJ Premier (check the album credits on Lady of Rage's album).
Daz had 2 good years, since then he's been hit or miss. Compare that to Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, DJ Premier, the RZA, Timbaland, Battlecat, there's no way you can put Daz in that category.

Daz was a great producer 9 years ago. Calling him a superproducer now is silly.

daz is a good producer ..but his best shit was mixed or co-produced by soopafly, quik, dre, mike dean etc.
