Why say blame Snoop and Nate when you _then_ go on to say it was their management and prior deals holding them back? that aint their fault.. thats on TVT and whoever elsewhere tied their hands..Why didn't TVT also make sure they had them contracted to do promotion like these other people did? are they stupid? delay the album if need be hell.. ?What kind of bullshit ass label puts out an album from someone who 1) won't/can't promote it.. and 2) doesn't tie them into HAVING to promote it?
The artists demanding payment to promote THEIR record wouldn't have helped matters though...
Snoop thinking about hes album not 213..... He promote his album very god but 213noooo
OK, warren was the only one who "promoted" it because he was the only one that didn't do his part: HE DIDN'T PRODUCE THE DAMN RECORD LIKE EVERYONE THOUGHT HE WOULD. but aside from that, who gives a shit about 213 sales...snoop even said he wasn't expectin anyone to buy it, he did it for himself and the group and the fans that were waiting for the album to come out for ages. this album was not for the masses. this album was for the people that actually got a kick out of listening to the old school 213 demo tapes we have all downloaded. and, just because it didn't sell well doesn't mean it wasn't a good album. and, an album doing "poorly" to the masses can be a good thing. imagine if it sold 10 bazillion copies, ya'll same people would be bitching that they 'sold out' again when you heard a bunch of 10 year old girls singin 'dolla dolla bill'. it's just music, who cares about sales...
i coulda sworn it's cuz the album sucked
Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program
