Nice calling your own poll a no brainer  8)

The greatest era? How about the 90s? I gotta say tho, 80s come close. I still prefer the early 90s tho.

late 80's the birth then hip hop woz original now every1 tries to copy wat those who started this did
Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program

I'll say the 90's as well for me. I got into hiphop in the 80's but in the early to mid 90's the shit was just taken to a whole other level in every sense of the word.

Everything was cracking. In the west you had Death Row, Ice Cube in his prime, 2pac, Too $hort in his prime, E40 barely had came out, you had Souls of Mischief, Warren G, just a ton of talent.

In the east you had Wu-Tang, the Boot Camp Click which was Black Moon, Smif and Wesson, OGC, Heltah Skeltah, Biggie, Nas, Mob Deep, Tribe, De La Soul, EPMD, Redman

In the south, you had Geto Boys then Scarface and Big Mike going solo, Outkast just came out of nowhere and blew up huge in 93, then they brought Goodie Mob with them

There was just way more good music out back then, and it was much more easily accessible. The radio stations actually played good music and so did Yo MTV Raps and Rap City back then. Now you gotta dig deep to find the good shit.

Definitely the 90's, at least the early to mid 90's, from 90-96 was the golden age of hip hop.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.
