Anyone hear the new Rolling Stones track?
« on: July 28, 2005, 02:34:55 PM »
It's called Streets of Love and it's coming out on their new album, "A Bigger Bang", which will released Sept. 6th. It's their first album in like 7 or 8 years.

The track is pretty good. It reminds of of their 70s stuff. Not as good as the greatness they put out in the 60s but better than just about anything I've heard them do since '94's Love is Strong.

Sorry, I only heard it on the radio. If I come across it online I'll put it up, but it'll probably be a radio recording.

I've heard it a few times on Q107. It's alright I guess, I never dug the Stones much though.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
