Why Dre produced for YaYo?
« on: August 04, 2005, 08:31:02 PM »
Question - why did Dr Dre produce a track for Tony Yayo but did not contribute anything to the solo efforts of Banks or Buck?

Let's just say while Buck and Banks and actually hold their own on an album, Yayo can use all of the help he can get.

there still no proof Live by the gun is produced by Dre, for me it's Focus who did this beat. Yayo sayin it's a Dre production is not a proof. How many 50 said "this beat is a Dre record" and it wasn't ?

I think that since Dre produced those 2 records on "Beg For Mercy", which featured Banks & Buck, I guess Yayo wanted to get on a Dre beat too at some point. He missed out on the G'd Up\Poppin' Them Thangs tracks, so Dre hooked him up with "Live By The Gun". Still no concrete proof, but I think it's a Dre beat. Sounds like his drums and layers, we'll see when the official credits pop up.
