the new west is tight also, but its still cool to like the old school artists ( daz, gotti, quik, eiht )...just becuase they are older doesnt mean they cany still spit.......plus, how many of these "new" westcoast cats are even gonna be around 1/3 of the time dpg has kept their names alive in this rap game

The DPG has barely been around as a whole. The DPG has had it's run this long thanks to Snoop. Without Snoop, the DPG would've died after Revenge, Retaliation, Get Back.

Doggystyle, Dogg Food, RRGB, Streetz..., first Eastsidaz album. That's really the only dope shit from the DPG crew. And think about it, Snoop and Dre are the reason Streetz Iz A Mutha and the first Eastsidaz album were possible. They brought back the unity. So yea... Don't give Daz and Kurupt THAT much credit. They haven't held huge weight since 99.

true that there names havent been poppin like that in the last 5 years but daz woulda kept his name alive on the underground scene somehow.......bottom line is that snoop is the star and put them all on at one point, but daz, kurupt, bad azz, eastsidaz & warren g have their own loyal fanbases that are gonna always support them in the long run and there probably good with that....also not many rappers that have been in the game 12 + years are still putting out music now

How consistent have they been though?

Daz may have a number of albums now, but they're generally wack as fuck. Kurupt has what... 3? Bad Azz has a few... Warren has a few. These guys aren't consistent enough. They're still living off of Deathrow. Snoop is the only one who survived.

you're bein too rough, wait til somethin comes out like an official album   :P

plus they've only made promotion tracks like 5 or somethin and I've liked almost all of them
even though they're nothin really special it is warming up chemistry-wise and I'm sure if it's not great it'll be real good
I'd like to think that they would in no way be capable or dumb enough to let us down with this anticipation, it'll be tight  8)
Yeah..i was kinda being mean...but I was just judging so far based on promotion songs.
I don't care if Dpg is back on map, I just want them to be true to dpg concept.

Some of that is way true espeacially now, but NO Snoop and Dre did not help in the making of "Tha Streetz..." "RR&GB" that was all Daz, Kurupt, Soopafly....Fred Wreck was brought on board by DAz and Kurupt, not Snoop...thats why Snoop never had any tracks with him before "Represent Dat G.C." and no one was going crazy for a Dre verse and unmixed "House Wife", that was on Dre's album (compared to the "2001" version, Dre gave Kurupt on the album), Snoop gets all my praise for puttin them into and still fucking with them after all kind of shit, but when it comes to their albums he's not Quarterbackin shyt, this new on im pretty sure he is, look at Nate Dogg's first double album open the booklet Daz and Soopafly produced, played instruments on damn near half that album! Daz, Kurupt and Soopafly have great chemistry, they can pull off one inbetween them invite Nate Dogg to sing on alot of the hooks, i guarantee some heat...I agree with you but after Snoop and Dre left Death Row they pretty much left Daz and Kurupt too, theyre affilation with them has always been little...

Only Snoop Dogg & Nate Dogg are keeping the Dogg Pound -DPG name in the spotlight

and in my opinion  Tha Dogg Pound Album with  Snoop & Nate would be hella successful and way better Than a Tha Dogg Pund album with Daz & Kurupt

I still bumpin their old stuff but to be honest I'm not anticipating their new lp. With this Daz intetrview it seems like the album will be wack, plus if Snoop back it like he did with 213 project , nothing good is on the way

lol lol lol real talk

ure opinion on the daz albums but i suggest u listen 2 RAW cause that album is close to rr&gb in production quality and its all handled by daz
every1 jus let them release the album then make ure judgements cause they hav released a couple of teaser tracks and imo they r all good

push bacc - has the potential 2 be the single for the new album
thats it - great beat by warren g with great lyrics by kurupt
we dont give a fucc - would be nice on a mixtape or summit not album quality imo, weakist track but still good 2 bump
only listened 2 the 2 new 1s once but i like them especially the daz 1

Dude, the Doggg Pound is Daz & Kurupt not Snoop and Nate, not Daz n Snoop, Kurupt and Nate or anything else.
Dogg Pound always has been Dillinger abd Gotti it will never[/b] be anything else.

true, I would much rather see daz & gotti together with Daz, Fred, Soopa & Warren on the beats ( maybe just Daz if he can bring it ), and MAYBE a guest shot from 213 & Bad Azz
