Is it looking that way? I haven't been following the series. I missed the 2nd test too, that would've been the bestestest. Talk about close.

Reckon that if England had got that last wicket & won the 3rd test then the ashes would be England's

McGrath didn't look fully fit for Australia in the 1st innings & it was a major gamble, however he started to look a little more fitter, and his bowling will be a huge factor.

Whoever wins the toss in the next test willl have an advantage if played correctly, if Ponting wins the toss & chooses to bat 1st then england could have a huge task, think that Ponting will have learned a lesson from the 2nd test when he put england in to bat.  The weather could also be a major factor its helped australia once in the series & could again.

IMO a draw could be a good bet

I don't mind going to the cricket, good atmosphere, often sit up on the hill in my home town sinking tinnies. As for watching it, yer test can get a bit boring.

Perhaps it's my Australian bias, but i'd say we've got this Ashes. We only have to win one more test, since we won the last Ashes series. I thought we were pretty unlucky in the 2nd test. Jones was plum lbw and given not out and then England made a few more runs before Flintoff was bowled by Warne, which as it turned out was the difference of winning that test. But ah well thats the way the game goes.

Got to hand it to England though, prior to this series the English cricket team were regarded about as much of a joke as the Royal Family is back home. Their performances in this tour has restored a bit of credability and silenced a few ignorant Aussie fans.
