His beats were west coast, and while ALLLLLL OF NEW YORK WAS DISSIN THE SHIT OUT OF LA GANGSTER RAP, he came out using that LA gangster style and blew up with it. REAL FUCKIN TALK!!!!!

that, plus, "Big Poppa" being as east coast as it gets? I heard that the first time when I was a kid who didn´t know shit about hiphop, and I thought, "damn, that reminds me of some of that w/c ish"...but some of Biggie´s beats had an east coast flavor. Also, whoever thinks that Ice Cube invented storytelling don´t know too much either. And about that Frank White stuff being bs, i got three letters....DUH
