Bret Hart on Heading to WWE, & he trashes HHH & HBK

Bret Hart took part in a question and answer session with fans at the NWA Legends Convention on Sunday. Highlights from the session are below:

- While Bret said that he's over the 1997 incident, WWE's actions resulted in the company perrmanently losing access to Bret Hart. Hart would rather offer his insights to TNA or another competing promotion.

- Bret Hart called Triple H and Shawn Michaels "lying pieces of sh*t," and explained that if he had been instructed to screw Shawn Michaels, he never would have done it. Bret doesn't blame Vince nearly as much as HBK and HHH, since the two wrestlers violated a trust. Vince, however, is expected to be a ruthless businessman.

- Hart confirmed that he will be flying to Stamford to resume work on the WWE DVD. Prior to Hart getting involved with the project, Lawler, Hogan and Michaels filmed very negative interviews.

Bret's not the one that keeps bringing up the Montreal incident, is he? It's the WWE, so Bret is over Montreal, but the WWE is not.

Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program

Reiterating what he's said in past interviews, Bret Hart told fans at the NWA Legends Convention that he would not return to take part in a WWE storyline. While the success of the DVD could help secure a future appearance, The Hitman would not be playing any sort of on-air character.

Bret would, however, consider an induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame. The wrestler also remains interested in issuing a farewell speech, but notes that his relationship with WWE is not yet at the point of arranging such an event.

Did you read what I read? He basically contradicted himself. What's worse is he doesn't even put any blame on Vince anymore because he's making money with him. The wrestling business is crazy.

Well the quote says
Quote
Bret doesn't blame Vince nearly as much as HBK and HHH, since the two wrestlers violated a trust. Vince, however, is expected to be a ruthless businessman
... that sentence doesn´t implify that Bret doesn´t blame  Vince at all, just that he doesn´t blame Vince as much as others... This of course is nonsense because all the years Bret always blamed Vince and you could hardly hear anything about Michaels or even HHH... So if Vince is and was the ruthless businessman like everyone would expect than there shouldn´t have been a surprise in the Montreal incident in the first place...

But anyway... I think Bret has a point there... at least I can understand why he says what he says... If Vince had approached me with that plan I would´ve at least had a certain thought in my head where all that should lead to.. I mean one day he asks HBK to help screw another wrestler and the next day it´s Eugene that helps screw HBK....  But well you don´t know what goes on in Bret´s mind... in another thread I pointed out that Bret should be happy that he´s still alive... he could be six feet deep as of now and I think he might have realized that it´s not worth it to hold a grudge for ever... and of course he forgives Vince at first... not because he runs the company but I think it´s safe to say that Vince and Bret had 100x the relationship that Bret and Shawn had...

Nevertheless, you´re right that basically the contradicts himself.. but I can see where he´s coming from...or at least I could explain that reaction.. you´ll never know what´s going on in his mind..
