i woz jus listenin to Regulate the G Funk era and i noticed that the last two songs sounded like tracks unreleased by dre and snoop

Runnin' Wit No Brakes --------- Next Episode OG

It got me thinkin maybe these songs were not on the final versions of chronic and doggystyle because mayb warren produced them but suge didnt wanna give him credit due to him not signin to death row so he stopped them bein released! so then warren took the beast and did his own thing wit them

Also i heard regulate woz originally a nate Dogg Track so imn wonder how more tracks r similar from those three albums...

i think it has and if i remember correctly this was discussed in another thread a couple of days ago when someone asked why the Next Epidosde didn´t make the final cut was coz the sampled wasn´t cleared in time and that Dre didn´t wanna use the same sample that some other well known producer had used.

The book let for regulate G Funk era says the samples but it says the track doesnt have one thats weird wat sample does it use then? im not sure but i believe ya tho!

i think some of the beats on g funk era are ghost-produced by Dre....Do You See comes to mind...that shit sounds straight off the chronic...seeing how warren is family to dre...record politics probally kept dres name from appearing in the credits....come on guys...do u really think dre would do nothing for his lil half brothers first album...especially at that time....

^I'm sure Warren G had done Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat first but Dre ended up using it...I think "Next Episode" & "Runnin" were just a coincidence...& "Ain't No Fun" sounds more Warren G-like so maybe he had done those tracks but they ended up with Dre for some reason..."Do You See" & "Let Me Ride" sound alike at tha beginning but that's all tha similarities I see between those...

Exactly. Many people said that Warren actually produced "Ain't no fun". Here's how I see it...when you listen close to most Warren G and Dre beats from back then, you'll notice that they sound a bit similar but are actually a lot different.

Dre would usually sample 70s music or early 80s funk...Warren would usually sample 80s music that might not have even been funk.
Example - Dre Day (Knee deep, also similar to Jamaica Funk), Whats my name (similar to Jamaica Funk, Knee Deep and Atomic Dog), Nothin but a G thang (I wanna do somethin freaky to you), The Roach outro (wants to get funked up)....Warren G - Regulate (Michael McDonald I keep forgettin), This DJ (Midnight star curious), Do you see (Juicy Fruit)

Dre's beats had a much darker sound, compared to how Warrens were a lot more laid back. Dre's high pitched synthesizers usually had a grimier feel to them, but Warrens sounded more like a whistle. This is very evident from comparin Nothin but a G thang, Dre Day, Let me ride, Murder was the case, Gin n Juice...to Warren's Regulate, Do you see, This DJ, Twinz Eastside LB, So many ways.

With that....doesn't that make Ain't no fun seem much more like a Warren G beat than it does a Dr. Dre beat? I am pretty sure that Dr. Dre could have done beats that sound just like Warrens, but I feel that Ain't no fun was much more of Warren's style and vibe.
