It's hard to say So. Cal without people sayin I'm biased, but I grew up in LA so in general I like more LA music, but that definitely doesn't mean I don't fuck wit Bay music. As of right now, I actually like what the Bay is doin a lot more than what LA is doin. The Bay has a completely unique sound to them and a whole culture to go with it, but they are gettin unfairly slept on. Most LA cats I know right now are either tryin to sound East Coast or they are soundin too 1993-ish.

i was in the bay for a few weeks and all of their artist that came on kmel and 94.9 all try to hard to sound like they're from the south. the bay fell off.

Its all good either way. Im from San Diego, so its Southern Kali for me. But the Bay Area and Dago are on the same shit musicwise. Both got pretty big independent scenes, thats why they do a lotta work together. They got they own lil style up there im feeling. San Diego got its own lil style, but its closer to LA's style then the Bay cept 99% of the rappers in Dago or on some gangsta shit. LA gotta lil more of them conscious, backpack, and hollywood typa rappers then down here lol. But from top to bottom, its all love. Im in southern Kali, but i prolly got more respect for the Bay then i do LA on tha music shit...but at the end of tha day...u dont really catch me bumpin too much other then some Dago artist and a few muhafuckas from Sac. Maybe some old Quik or E-40....
