Will Daz's career will be over anytime soon?
« on: August 24, 2005, 11:48:58 PM »
Hey, I was just wondering.  I mean his career hasn't been at his best these days.  Since his deathrow days, he was making banging tracks and all.  Now, if you see what he's been doing, do you guys believe he will last long time?

smack yourself  :nawty:

why would his career be over soon?
he's still got plenty of fans, he got back with Kurupt, he has another album coming out, and 2 DPG projects coming out, and he's in his early 30's

geez it seems like he's struggling  ::)

sorry, that was just a dumbass question  8)

Yeah, so what?  Just because they got back together, it don't mean much unless they truely come back some quality work.  I don't want to see Daz bringing out some lazy beats and lyrics.  Besides, Daz and Kurupt already hit their prime...they old now...however I do like his music still.
Besides from that point, I don't think they will last long.

Duno "pc8381" has got a point.. Daz hasnt been putting out quality work last few years, his last album "gangsta crunk" wasnt good for Daz's standard i thought, and has got me thinking that maybe Daz has just lost his edge... But hopefully he can prove me wrong with the upcoming DPG projects...

That ''One Gun/All I Need'' track by Daz is very nice...

but the thing is, even if he puts out wack shit (which I doubt these upcoming releases will be), you think he's gonna quit or someone's gonna kick him out of the game?  he addicted to money, why would he stop?

Daz's careers been over, just he got too many dickryders still thinkin' he and Kurupt are gonna drop anothere "Dogg Food" which will never happen, why, politics and money.  Remember Dr. Dre was behind that album 100%, not just Snoop.  Plus all they (DPG/Snoop) shit sounds tha same, not new or "fresh" whateva u wanna call it.  Every coast got they prime (East 80's/00's) (West 90's) (South 00's), noone can really "save" a coast or put out better shit than they did b4, just look at Dre & Cube or even Mobb Deep 4 another example.  Dre lives off his name, same wit' Cube, along wit' tha whole DPGC camp.  Tha only way DPG can ever make another classic iz wit' all and only the ORIGINAL MEMBERS (Rage/Soop/CStyle/RBX/etc.) and wit' Dre/Daz/Warren/Quik producin' the beats, and someone ghostwrite 4 all of them Hittman/Knoc.

I think any smart person who knew about rap already knew that they're not gonna make another Dogg Food

daz does and says alot of dumb shit but hes a hustler and a survivor ...I believe his comes from him being a foster child. think about it every one shitted on him after the whole deathrow thing because he stayed.
then every one hated on him during dres 2001 run and he hooked up with jay z.
and believe it or not I heard dudes really gettin his paper from that lawsuit he won from suge.
from what i understand he bought a record pressing plant and a studio...thats gonna make him more money....his best days as a rapper and producer maybe behind him but in one way or another hes gonna
be in the industry.
