alright so me and 7 of my friends are doing this fantasy football league and i was wondering who i should start.  in our league we must start one qb, one kicker, and one defense.  the other 5 starters can be any rb, wr, or te.

points:
qb: 6 points for td (rushing or passing), 3 points for 300 yard game, 1 point for every 25 additional yards.  -1 point for interceptions and fumbles.
rb/wr/te: 6 points for td, 3 points for 100 yard game, 1 point for every 25 additional yards.  -1 point for fumbles.
kicker: 3 points for fg, 1 extra point for a 40 yard kick, 2 points for 50 yard kick and beyond.  1 point for extra point.
defense: 1 point for turnover, 6 points for touchdown.

i was able to draft:
QB - D. McNabb, K. Collins
RB - E. James, C. Portis, W. McGahee, A. Green, B. Westbrook, Steven Jackson, T. Bell
WR - N. Burelson, L. Coles, L. Fitzgerald
DEF - Tampa Bay, Dallas
K - L. Tynes, J. Brown

who should my 8 starters be?
i also have plans to trade kerry collins, ahman green, and tampa bay defense for trent green, rudi johnson, and ravens defense.  does this sound good?

At QB...hey are both top notch players fantasy-wise, I'd just start the guy playing against the worst defense.
At RB, WR & TE...I'd start 5 RBs, James, Portis, McGahee, Bell and Green
DEF...Tampa
Kicker...toss up

Start Kerry Collins at QB, he has more targets. Mcnabb has 1 good receiver, and a bunch of nobodies. Also, I wouldn't do that trade, you're already stacked at RB, that's a downgrade from QB, and you already have TB as your defense. You can go week to week picking up defenses off the WW. You will only need to on TB's bye week.

yeah, they kept going after wide receivers while i was picking up all the running backs.  i saved my last picks for my kickers and defenses.

i like the idea of starting collins.  also, i hear rumors that tatum bell isn't starting for the broncos... any truth to this?  i might have to drop him and pick up whoever is starting for the broncos.  thanks for the input guys.

The league that im in we have all been together for 6 years now and everyone knows how to draft.Im weak at my #2 Rb and my Depth at RB but i have strong WR.Since everyone went RB crazy in my league i decided to get WR and i got lucky getting Westbrook in 3rd round.

yep, this is the first time we've done this.  i knew it was a wrap for a couple of people because they took wide receivers in the second round, one person didn't get a qb until the 3rd round (but he did get tomlinson though), and one person only drafted 12 people and was like "alright, i got enough."  this should be money in the bank but we'll see though.

so anyway, i guess i gotta drop bell and pick up somebody else.  there's not many players left out there.  i'll probably wait a while and see if i can find a player we slept on.
