South Park Mexican sentenced to 45 years in prison

Houston rapper Carlos "South Park Mexican" Coy, 31, convicted two weeks ago of molesting a 9-year-old girl, was sentenced today to 45 years in prison. He was also ordered to pay the maximum fine of $10,000. Coy was facing life in prison but could now be eligible for parole after serving 22 1/2 years.

"Sex offenders have one trait in common, and that is that they all are liars. You are no exception to that rule," Judge Mark Kent Ellis told Coy aftering reading his sentence. The young girl, a friend of Coy's daughter, was staying overnight at his house when he touched her. Coy faces seven other charges of sexual assault and has shown no remorse for his actions thus far.
