San Antonio is going to be scary next year no doubt. I don't know about the heat now. Shaq is definitely on the downside of this career. You have to be blind not to see that. Even though he lost some weight last season, he's nowhere near his weight from just 6 seasons ago. Jason Williams is a reckless player he throws up bad shots and racks a ton of turnovers. I used to always like it when he was in the game for the Kings because I knew the Lakers would easily win as long as he was on the court, turning the ball over an hoisting up ill-advised 30 footers. He's not as bad as he once was, but his acquisition hardly puts them over the top. Antione Walker is the definition of a one dimensional shoot first type player. Just wait until you'll hear Shaq telling the media that his team neads to play "smarter" and "pass him the ball more", meaning Antione Walker and Jason Williams are throwing up too many bad shots.

The Heat still have to get past a Pacers squad with Ron Artest and the Pistons. This year is pretty much the Heat's one shot at it and even if they get past the Pacers and Pistons, they'll have to deal with San Antonio, which is already the most disciplined and best coached squad in the league, which only got deeper with the addition of Van Exel and Finley.

Oh yeah, the Lakers will make the playoffs, no doubt about that.
