This show has been pretty "popular" (for the youth) in Western Europe for a few years now, but I saw on the HBO website that they play it in the U.S. as well. Dude's hilarious Some episodes are better than others, but most of the time, I'm laughing my ass off with that show.

I saw a couple shows on HBO and decided to buy the first season. The show gets pretty stupid at times but if one segment of the show sucks, the other 4 will have you laughing. And Ali G reminds me of all the MC Eiht fans in Europe.

And when Ali G mispronounces words on purpose, lol, that shit's hilarious sometimes. Did anyone catch that episode where Ali G was talking about sex? "Aiight, boo-ya-kasha. Today, we iz gonna talk bout sex. We'z all heard the word and some might have even seen the act itself. But what exactly iz it? With sex comes a lot of responsilibity."

Yesterday I was watching an episode where he went into the house of a former White House employee (or president) or something (I forgot), well anyway, the guy who used to live there was called Washington. Then, Ali G asks the guest:

"Aiight, did Denzel have a good time here?"
"Oh, no we're talking about a different Washington"
"Aiight, but he wuz a brodda, ain't he?"

Then, they start talking about the 4th of July:

"Aiight, so, on whut day iz the 4th of July?"
"Well, on 4th of July"
"Aiight, but what if it's a leap year? Would it still be the 4th as well?"
"Yes of course"
"Do you know what a leap year is? It happens every 5 years"

A lot of people can't stand Ali G's show, but his humor is just sooooo simple that it's hilarious

I always have respect for anyone who can make alot of money about of being stupid/funny.

Jackass guys for example.

Ali G is a talented writer.  He saw a gap in the market for a comedy which involved the language of a black man and totally created a host of original characters.
