What console are you going to buy and why?

Me, im going for the 360 just because for the simple reason  its earlier out then the other 2. I would rather buy the playstation III but i dont have the patience to wait.

i'm considering going for the xbox 360 too... but mostly for media centre abilities..

BUT..  way things are going i'm expecting to have my own house in 2 years if not sooner..
so i'm considering getting another chipped XBOX  to run XBMC on...
so i can have one in bedroom and one in living room..

but i'm guessing that some better media centre equip may be around by then... so i dunno...

It depends on the exclusive games..
I want to get a 360 for games like Perfect Dark, Quake 4, Project Gotham Racing 3, Call of Duty 2..
But then again, PS3 will have Gran Turismo 5, Unreal Tournament 2007, possibly exclusive GTA-deal, and they have yet to announce some other big titles.
Burnout 4 or 5 will be on all platforms, and so will Pro Evolution Soccer probably be, so it depends much on the exclusive games.

Don't think I will be getting Nintendo, they're trying too much to re-capture the past instead of revolutions, lol..

Metal Gear Solid 4, I-8 & Warhawk both look dope. And they haven't anounced but I'm pretty sure God of War 2 cause of the clips in the extras part of the game.

Plus the only game with any merit seems to be halo which i am not a fan of...
