WTF is Eminem thinking
« on: May 02, 2002, 07:27:10 PM »
I heard without me. the lyrics are good but the beat sounds like a fuckin nursery rhyme.

people in the music industry would give anything to have dre produce one track for their record.dre would have gladly produced the entire eminem show since em is aftermaths biggest artist after dre himself (ra is kinda new to new listeners).

wtf does eminem want to produced the album himself. he should have atleast asked dre to produced the first single. if the first single sounds this bad i can imagine how bad the other em produced tracks will b.

mayb he was tryting to prove that with good lyrical skills the beat doesnt matter. HE WAS WRONG!!

What do yall think???

Yup, just like "My Name Is.." & "The Real Slim Shady", it's basically part of the marketing plan, Em knows what he's doing, he's smart, he succeeded with his other two LP's by using the same exact stratedgy. & as far as the production goes we've only heard what 2 tracks, give the guy a fucking chance! Hear him out first, you never know, you might be suprised.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Maybe Eminem Wants To Expand On What He Does. I Personally See No Problem With Eminem Beats. Don't Disregard Without Me Yet, That Song Has Grown On Me Fast. First Time I Heard It I Labeled It Wack.

BTW, Would You Describe 'What You Say' As Pop. Hell No. Thats Why I'm Guessing It Wont Be Used As A Single. The Hooks From The Album, Most Of Them Don't Sound Pop To Me, And Even If They Do You Cant Judge Them Without Hearing The Whole Song.

I'm Not Saying That What Eminem Is Doing With His First Single Is Good For The Real Fans Who Appreciate Him As A Lyricist And Dope Artists, But He Does It Too Sell. Very Smart Man In My Eyes. Buy Any Of His Albums And You'll See What I'm Talking About.

I like "Without Me" a lot.  His voice in is tight, it matches the beat.  I like the part in the beat right after he says his trailor park girls line.  And there is a lil scratchin.

Tight.
