DJ Quik or Dr. Dre?

but Quik is getting closer and closer.The main difference between Quik and Dre is that Dre can make laid back tracks and bangers,while Quik can only make laid back tracks(and hes damn good at it)

quik and just like someone else said you can fall asleep listening to his music, wake up the next day and it sounds completely different. His music is really timeless, layered, and complex all at the same time. I haven't been bumping dre for a long while now. Currently it is quik, battlecat, and warren g. Before it used to be more hardhitting with dre, daz, and cold187um.

wow this thread is a lot more one-sided that i thought...id go for dre...he has a more polished sound....sometimes the sounds quik uses just feel out of place to me....i can see wat he's trying but it just doesnt fall into place

Dre has had more "hits" and club bangers

but Quik for me, all day every day, as you guys said, layered beats, his songs are perfect for the summer and he always drops quality.
