I know this has been posted - just a note to the "silent forum viewers" www.dubcnn.com has a reminder and info on the album, audio to check it out if you havent decided to buy it! SUPPORT DJ QUIK TODAY!

As i am sure you are all aware (as you will have no doubt all gone today to your local store to buy), DJ Quik's long awaited 7th solo album, "Trauma," hit shelves! If you have not already bought the album then this is the only time i am going to allow you to get up and walk away from dubcnn to go and buy the record! If you already bought the album then skip to the bottom of the update to listen to the legend that is Julio G interviewing DJ Quik last night on K-Day. If not read on before you enjoy that!

DJ Quik returns from a 3 year solo album hiatus to release his latest album, "Trauma." Many of you will have already heard the singles on the radio and have some idea of the musical direction DJ Quik went on this record. Once again he takes the westcoast sound to a new level, one which pushes boundaries and challenges opinions on how sounds should be interpreted. The album is fresh, funky and innovative, something which fans hold DJ Quik in high regard for. He does not disappoint on a record which slides smoothly through genres yet still at its core outlines the love and passion DJ Quik has for Hip-Hop. If you still need convinicing of a reason to purchase the album check out the tracklist below and some audio as a temptation! After that please go support the time and effort he has put into the album, you the fans, craved.

I haven't seen any yet.  It took about a month to get Under The Influence here in Vancouver because of Quiks shitty distrobution.  HMV should be importing some soon tho.  My friend got a promo copy of UTI from a mom and pop store for like 15 bucks right when it came out, so maybe try one of those places.

I might have to take a lil trip over the border and pick some shit up this weekend.
