UK People : dubcnn daily/weekly news updates via Text/SMS > PLEASE READ

Ok, im looking at using an SMS service on dubcnn whereby readers can register to a service that will send out an SMS message with latest headlines and information on new contests/interviews. Anyone who subscribed would also get exclusives (to be decided what and how)

How many of you would be interested? I know cost is an issue, im not sure as of yet what it would be - say it was 10p a received message (never more than one a day or 5 a week) or something or a subscription payment weekly/monthly?

Please hit up in here if you would be interested and your thoughts? This will greatly improve dubcnn's visability to the public so your support is both vital and appreciated....

It will if i get subscribers/people interested, just need yes's and no's (with reasons) and other thoughts! if its a success in the UK ill look at the rest of EU and US

good thinkin, but I think that the readers of dubcnn wont really need that, when they could just check the site, im sure those who read dubcnn do it almost daily aswell making this idea unecessary? just my thoughts..

na it would be standard network rate, 10p, jeez i know about text scammers im not about to set one up! just to help more people keep up to date (like an RSS feed in their hands) at a standard fee, they can set the volume of texts they wish to receive!

It will help toward dubcnn paying for itself, it costs me a small fortune you would not beleive and to spread the name more - once i get these UK gigs in order ill be expecting yall to pay the £10-15 entry fee, WCC people who come down will get a pint off me too

as i said, im learning how it works in the UK first as its easier for me being here....if its a success or i get the feeling the US & EU want it and would be happy to take part then yea itll be everywhere i can get it!
