The Game has been inadvertently caught-up in a dispute over the controversial name of his new trainer line, 'The Hurricane'.

The rap superstar has decided against renaming the collection of trainers in the aftermath of the tragedy that has devastated New Orleans and the surrounding area.

However, Game has announced he'll give a percentage of the profits from the sales of the shoes to the fundraising effort, a donation he says will continue until New Orleans is rebuilt.

"A portion of the proceeds will go to help people who lost everything, and that will last until the company ceases to exist or until New Orleans is 100% rebuilt," the rapper said.

Apparently, in order to avoid any controversy over the name, it will not be included in advertisement, while an undisclosed percentage of the sale price - between $80 and $100 a pair - will go to charity.

Meanwhile, The Game has revealed he is considering adopting a child caught-up in the human catastrophe. He said: "It's all I can think about when I wake up in the morning."

Adopting a child? I doubt Game has even been inside his home in the past 8 months. Adopting a child just doesn't make sense, unless he's gonna take the child on tour with him?

Adopting a child is not something you talk about considering. You do it or don't, but don't talk about considering to get some publicity.
