my theory is "the island" == the guy from the start

the island (or black smoke?) can only manifest into people who's body is on the island, and they are dead, thats why the island (as christian shephard) had to convince locke to leave and have his body brought back, so it could appear as locke who was "the leader"

i guess the gay part of all of this is that in a recent interview terry o'quinn pretty much said locke was a sucker and his story is done

I think the guy from the start took over Locke's body, he found his "loophole" and finally killed Jacob.

It was a cool finale but a little disappointing still. That scene with Bernard and Rose was the most corny shit on Lost ever and they're still trying to push that love square.

Looking forward to season 6!

i dunno, i thought the rose & bernard scene fit well

they had a point though. the rest of the survivors are always running around a killing each other, being hunted etc, who would want to be a part of that? shit i would've done the same thing, built myself a hut on the beach and just chilled out

finale was brilliant. can't wait for season six.

good to see a Jacob centric. who was using the cabin if Jacob lived in the foot? did Christian actually have contact with Jacob or was he lying when he said "i speak on his behalf".

i loved how Phil died. he was an arsehole.

Christian and Claire was in the cabin in one of the episodes.

Maybe it was the same guy who took over Lockes dead body, some people are thinkin that "he" is the Black Smoke.

theres things that could suggest he is not he black smoke though. For example, 'locke' never knew what was said to ben at the time when he was getting judged by the smoke or what alex told him to do as in listen to whatever locke tells him to do, so unless there are two diffferent smoke monsters, that may not be the case because if locke is the blacksmoke, surely he would have known was what was said to ben. Also im guessing that the blacksmoke transformed into the shape of alex right when it spoke to ben? But also we never see locke when ben was speaking to alex, so it could still be the monster but there are still questions over it. Locke definately came across as like not knowing what was said to ben in the temple place.

every time you see a person on the island that has died, its the island taking that persons form

alex died, then appears to ben = the island
eko's brother appearing on the island = the island
locke dying then appearing on the island = the island

etc..

jacob and the island probably have a love/hate relationship or something like that

I freakin' love Lost. Best show on TV- except for Pushing Daisies of course, as the writing is just brilliant! I hope Jack and Kate still end up together, even though there was most likely some sort of time war- hopefully they'll end up finding eachother. And I do love Sawyer and Juliette.. hopefully she survives that man-hole she got sucked in to.

Charlie isnt coming back, he's on a new show called 'Flash Forward' which is also airing on ABC (same network as LOST)

people jizzed in their pants when they saw him on an ABC ad saying something about dying and thought it was for LOST

Yeah, that's what read about today. So "Flash Forward" will have that same thing that is in Lost? (Flash Forward?)
