Hidden\uncredited background vocals on Dre tracks...
« on: September 30, 2005, 05:48:52 PM »
Baby G just gave me an idea for a thread. Anyone else notice a lot of uncredited background vocals on Dre produced tracks over the years?

I've always wondered about these...

Kurupt on "Chin Check" ( After Dre spits 'dope like tons of coke', it sounds like Kurupt saying "cutthroat!" )
Dr. Dre on "Back Down" ( just a few weeks ago I noticed it, sounds like him saying "They not gon' like you!" )
Hittman on "The Watcher 2" ( He sings the other half of the chorus, not sure if it's him though )
Dre on Knoc-Turn'al's "I Like" ( he makes some weird noise in the middle of Knoc's verse )
Dre on "Fight Music" ( he goes "Hell Yeah" during Bizarre's verse )
Snoop on "Housewife" ( sounds like him saying "Beeeotch" )
Dre on "Who Knew" ( sounds like him saying "Wasn't me, Slim Shady said to do it again!" )

Then there's the obvious ones...

Dre on "Losin' Your Mind", "If I Can't", "Ain't Nuttin' But Music", "Business", "X", "Ass Like That", "Just Lose It", "Remember Me?"
Eminem on "Bang Bang" and "The Watcher"
The D.O.C. on "The Next Episode"

definately not DRe on "Who Knew" thats Eminem changing his voice...Kurupt on "Chick Check" debatable, i heard he wrote his verse or some shit, Dre is on "Fight Music" (funny shit too)
back down that dont sound like Dre to me at all but it does sound like Ludacris to me, i dont why, it doesnt sound like Dre and ive always tripped out on that part becuase im like shit is that Ludacris?
does sound like Snoop on "HOusewife"....the last were are al legit to me, cool thread...what about Kurupt on the begining of "The Watcher" (Wassup Dr.Dre!)...and Dr.Dre on Kurupt's "Under Pressure" ("Yo We About To Bounce?")

naw kurupt was in the background of snoops verse on "Chin Check".

"g'd up, c'd up, muthafucka blaze the weed up (BLAZE THE WEED UP SNOOP)"

snoop had a lil addlib on "Higher" by Game

"I burn my shiet up like Snoop (ahh westsideee)

most obvious one is Dre on "My Name is" by Eminem

"and Dr. Dre said Slim Shady you a basehead
nuhuh, then why's your face red? man you waisted"

Yeah that BackDown one has had me wondering for a while... Initially just thought it was ShaMoney or someone like that, then when i realised it was a Dre-laced track i assumed it was him... Dre usually only cameo's on songs he's mixing

I think Kon Artis also has an uncredited vocal on "Bang Bang", right after Eminem.

Then there's also Snoop saying 'whut?' on 'Hello'
Dre also goes uncredited on 'G-Funk Intro','What's My Name?' and 'Lay Low'
Snoop,The D.O.C. and Lil' 1/2 Dead (and possibly miss Roq or one singer or another..) on the outro and intro of 'Ho's a housewife' and 'Ackrite'.
By the way,I think 'Whattup Dr. Dre?' at the beginning of 'The Watcher' is Tray Deee.
Jelly Roll went uncredited on 'On the blvd'
