he already gave an explanation for the 2001 line and the line is more sloppy than false. "around the same time" means november or near november, maybe he got shot end of september. Same with the quik line, to be exact if "15 years plus" is right then "10 years +" automatically right too as "+" is undefined and could be 1 or 5 years or whatever. It's sloppy but nothin to be trippin about for months.

But yeah, it's a kinda dumb line. I mean if you can't understand it right without a separate explanation, you know you fucked up. But it's no biggie, at least to me.

Im not saying Quik's supposed to get mad. The disrespectful part is that he cant get his facts straight Just like he said he got shot the same year Dre dropped his album like it aint been out 2 years before that
