Funny shit happened in my class yesterday (westcoast related)

I teach highschool english and history, and i have a student in my grade 10 English class with Aspbergers Syndrome, a form of Autism.  Students had to write a poem based on the novel they read (he read the novel ALIVE)............well, this kid wanted to recite his, i said why not.

He goes to the front of the class, and starts rapping!  Funniest sit I have ever seen- keep in mind this is the LAST kid in the world you would thinkwas down with hiphop.....

the best line of the whole thing "I'll never give up, won't sell out like Snoop or your favourite toy at Christmas/keep it real like a fishing rod, bite my line(s), you get dismissed kid"

Yeah, i couldn't help but laug a little, the other students were pretty cool about it, you could tell it was a proud moment for him to be rapping in front of the class.  I talked to him after, he likes jay z and mainly underground stuff, HATES anything WESTCOAST and 50 cent. 

And i wasn't making fun of him, but it WAS hilarious. 

TED187, the rest was about ALive, he rapped about the crash and surviving, "eating" MC's for breakfast, as the story does contain cannibalism obviously..........
