Will Crooked I or Sly Boogy even go gold?

I think they have great talent but their promo has been horrible. if they're promoted as second rate artists they're going to get second rate numbers. whatch'all think?

Sly has a bigger chance than Crook. He has a bigger underground buzz and he's grinding harder, doing underground shows and stuff. His style is a little more versatile than Crook's. I think he could blow if he had some push behind.

Crook? I like his style but I don't think he has much mass appeal, to be honest. He's a lot like Ras Kass. He's at his best when he just tears the shit out of the mic and unfortunately that does not translate into mass appeal.

Regardless, if any of the 2 drop a real album and not just some mixtape, I'll be in the store copping it.

if they do go gold its gonna take months (especially crooked i). unfortunatly, i dont see either of them droppin. sly boogie's song "Thats My Name" was all over the radio, then "Keep Thuggin" did pretty good to, but there was no album to follow up with.
