Pick Thee Singles Off Of The Hitt Bootlegg
« on: April 13, 2002, 03:10:19 AM »
I think the 13 tracks that leaked where Hella Tight, and many of those songs are single material to launch Hitt in my opinion.

Here are the singles I would choose:

1.  Last Dayz - Ill beat, Hitt going solo just spittin fire.  This would definetly be a wise choice for first single.

2.  Direct It - For the 2nd single I would go with with melodic Hitt track.  It's catchy, and the hook it ill.  Another side of Hitt for peeps to hear.

3.  Hiznit - I'd end it with this.  It's a catchy song, and would help sell the album more.  Nice funky Hitt song.

Peace...what would you guys pick?

My top three are:

Gett Mynz - (Kills this track.. so pimp'ish!)
Hott Damn - ("me and you go together like teddy and guy..")
Front Page - (The clearest track on the promo.. haha.. hot beat.. Lyrics sick.  I love the echo effect on the Snare Drum.  That shit got me!)

i like hot damn(sick beat and heavyu flow on that song, sumthin different

last days-feelin that shit also, thought they could have had sumone good to do a hook on it, like truth hurts or something

and wen it comes-i think its called that, the battlecat joint, shits tight

overall i thought from most of the tracks ive heard, i was feelin some shit and not others, you could tell dre aint produced it all though. i mean in my opinion hiznit was kinda wack, sounded to poppy like nelly or something but i agree with incognito itd probably help his album sell. but i told ya my three that i like the best in my opinion, peace

oh and whats up with his album now anyways???

Not like Dre ever mentioned Hitt in any interviews...I don't think I've ever heard Dre speak about Hittman.  Seriously.  I've read articles where they do a piece on Dre, and they mention Hitt, but I don't ever remember Dre being like, 'Yo, I got this new cat Hittman who is about to drop an album.'

How bout y'all, LOL.  Now all the articles we read it's like Dre is just talkin bout Truth, Eminem and Rakim str8 up.

yo u asked ben baller anything about this album, cuz like what was all that shit he was sayin that after the press conference they gonna announce sumthin big n shit, but that never happened, instead they come on tellin us shit about that the bootleg aint nuttin compared to the real hitt album..........which was gonna come out in the summer..........but aint no where near finished?!?!

that guy confuses me!! no disrespect to him, but like that ben baller talks in circles sometimes instead of just being full on real.

man we all been waitin for a hitt album since 2001 and we still waitin middle 2002! dayum

2000 was really supposed to be the year for Hittman to drop.  Dre missed his chance with him.

Ben Baller said 5 - 6 of the songs on this bootlegg will end up on the album.  I'm guessing those songs WON'T be "Blaaw," "Foot Trooper," Watch Out" and "Let Shit Go"

Ben said "Foot Trooper" is like 6 - 7 years old, "Blaaw" is a "2001" leftover and those other to are Knoc's songs.  Peace
