Ludacris Preps Compilation Project From His DTP Imprint

Ludacris has already proven his solo selling power, but now he's ready for flex his executive muscle to help get his own artists the same success.

Members of the press visited the Def Jam offices last week to attend a listening session for Ludacris Presents: Disturbing The Peace, the new compilation album from Luda's label of the same name. Ludacris, R&B artist Bobby Valentino, and Disturbing The Peace co-CEO Chaka Zulu were all present for the event.

The disc will showcase the entire Disturbing The Peace roster: Ludacris, I-20, Shawnna, Bobby Valentino, and new additions Field Mob, Playaz Circle, Norfolk, R&B songstress Shareefa and rock band Lazyeye. Lazyeye is the first act under DTP Rocks, Ludacris' new rock label. The first video single is "Georgia," featuring Ludacris and a Ray Charles-imitating Jamie Foxx, is the DTP debut from Field Mob, who migrated to the label after two albums with MCA.
