I'm beginning to think that they've axed the whole thing as a result of Warren's less than stellar sales.
he was making a vid for Ghetto Village Remix w/ Snoop & Nelly too... never came out/got done...
11.07.05: The music video for "Get U Down Part 2" opens with Warren G giving a dedication to victims of Hurricane Katrina, along with scenes of rescue, human turmoil and devastation caused by the flooding. The video then unfolds with a dazzling hyper-realism, introducing a brand new, never-before-used technology that depicts vibrating images and animated touches that heighten one's visual experience. Warren G, Ice Cube, B Real, and Snoop Dogg are shown in vivid scenes around various locations in southern Cali while they address gang violence and racism against ultra 3-D, almost shimmering backgrounds. A five-year old girl getting hand-cuffed, a young man getting shot while his girlfriend mourns the loss of his life, incarceration, and poverty are all addressed; but the message of staying positive and trusting that hard times will be overcome resonates throughout the video. Kevin Hunter directed the video, with Brother Paul Hunter as second unit. Warren will also be performing along with Penny Wise in San Diego on Nov 10th for a benefit concert.
The label has probably done promoting the album (not like they really started anyway) but I hope it leaks atleast.
