looking around their site, it's really not that great of a number.  For example, Death Row's "tha dogg pound 2002" hit #2 on the Top Independent albums chart, and dillinger and gotti 2 just debuted at #23.  So they're doing nowhere near as good as Death Row did 4 years ago with the same shit.
While we're at it, who would have known that all those years ago, 1995, "Dogg Food" topped the Billboard 200?  Damn, that's impressive, never knew that.  #1 album for the dogg pound, they oughta brag about that shit more often.

I see what you are saying, but you gotta factor in the mainstream bullshit, payola, coupled by the fact that promotions mean a video on television in high rotation, and even then you might not be guaranteed success. They didn't have national radio play just a region. They didnt have any commercials, and really and truly a lot of people don't even realize they are back together on a national level.  I see what you are saying though.  I am just glad they sold more than 10 copies, considering the way the websites bash them everytime they can get.

That's true about the distribution, but like I showed, Death Row didn't have anything major going on either, and were 'independent', and still reached #2 on that chart with old material.  The only hope they've got is that since it was independent, maybe they shorted the week and these are only the results for 1 or 2 days, and the full results will be in next week, but I don't think it went down like that.
