When Are They Going To Release A DVD Boxset Of...
« on: November 16, 2005, 10:44:28 PM »
Daria? It was one of the greatest shows on television. I have never enjoyed a show on MTV post-1996 as much as Daria and I doubt they could ever top it. I know someone else here feels where I'm coming from.

I use to watch that show way back in the day. Is it still on?

It's on one of those kids' networks at 3am. I wish they had it for sale. I'd snatch all 5 seasons up with a quickness.

I didn't really like it at first either but after a few shows the writing was some of the best I have ever seen. Sarcastic humor is hard to do, but the writers did it perfectly.

^^ No, but the characters were. It was just a spin off of Bevis and Butthead.

I'm so with you the Daria tip, that was great stuff!  I love the humor - speaking of that, I can't believe Arrested Development got cancelled.  Another sarcastic show bites the dust.  Wish people were smarter! ;)

the first three seasons Daria was little more than a narrator on screen it wasnt until season 3 or so that she had more depth, especially during the whole Tom thing between her and Jane.  the show was really good around there.  it comes on 'the n' the nickelodeon teen channel.
