Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire
« on: November 21, 2005, 09:38:49 AM »
ok quash the laughter!

saw this last friday, was quality i have to admit (i been reading the books since they came out - not initially my choice i was asked to by my nan who was an author and wanted to get my thoughts on it but i wouldnt miss one now!)

dissapointed with the bits from the book they felt the need to cut/change....all in all another great sequal, a series that thus far i dont feel has produced an industry standard "crap sequal" - should be a good collection when its finished! anyone else seen it?

I of course saw it opening night, all 4 movies have been excellent.

This was the worst of the lot, though, because I couldn't really totally follow what was going on.  Also, they introduced characters at the beginning of the movie, and then killed/doneaway with/sent to prison them at the end of the movie.  That's a bad idea for a sequel/series of movies.  Here's a new guy, then SURPRISE!!! at the end of the movie, IT'S THE NEW GUY!!! I guess they had these characters in previous books but they didn't make it into the movies or something until now.

Ok if we're all being honest here, I'm excited to see it too.  I'm going tonight with a friend, I've really liked the way that the books are translated to film so far.  Usually I'm dissapointed, but not with this series.  I'm also glad they haven't changed the actors as the kids get older.  I always thought it was broke when they did that!
