Only one album worth mentioning that actually can compete with anything else released this year outside from the west, The Documentary

Documentary is heavily overatedd, just because it was the most popular album this year from the west and it sold the most doenst mean jack shit...It was good but not the best this year...

Top 10 in order this year so far:

1.DJ Quik - Trauma(best westcoast album OVERALL since Chronic 2001)
2.DJ Muggs vs. GZA - Grandmasters(if you consider this West, but I consider it a both coasts kinda album)
3.Warren G - In the Midnight Hour
4.Ras Kass - Institutionalized
5.Mack 10 - Hustla's Handbook
6.Daz Dillinger - Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP
7.The Game -  The Documentary
8. D.P.G. - Dillinger & Young Gotti 2: Tha Saga Continuez
9. J-Steez - Up 4 Tha Crown
10. Messy Marv - Bandanas, Tattoos & Tounge Rings

1. The Game - The Doc
2. Ras Kass - Institutionalized
3. Warren G - In the mid-nite hour
4. Mack 10 - Hustla's handbook
5. DJ Quik - Trauma

Honorable or decent mention:

Kurupt - Against the grain
Alkaholiks - Firewater (The advance, the retail will probably be released in 2006 though..)

The Daz & DPG albums would be a honorable mention if it was cut down to 1 album.  :-\

As much as pains me to say this but I haven't heard any good west coast albums this year.

B-Legit's album sucked because he tried to make his music sound like down south music.
Mack 10's album is a joke
The Game - The Documentary isn't that great people really need to stop praising it.
Celly Cel should be ashamed of himself for that album he put out.
Spice 1 (see Celly Cel )

As for Warren G and DJ Quik I heard snipets of their albums and from what I heard I wasn't to impressed.

Yeah I'm tryin to promote them, they are better than over half the shit out there!
What do you call your sig? That looks like promotion to me!

I DO think that those albums are better than other shit that came out this year!
If you heard them, maybe you'd agree! Don't diss tell you've heard them!

I think Drizz mixtape was better than Eastinfection 2.

ugh what a horrible selection to choose from. DJ Quik's album was alright, no replay value tho. DPG, Kurupt, Warren G, even Mack 10 (few nice cuts tho) were all let downs.

only good albums were

The Game - The Documentary
Sidewayz Presents: Luni Coleone - Anger Management
"House shoes & coffee: I know the paper gone come"
