Omar Minaya = God.... as a mets fan i hate givin up Jacobs but WE FINALLY HAVE A BIG BAT... FINALLY A LEGIT BIG BAT.  But word the marlins are dumping everyone, they cant afford to keep the team they have and are knocking the payroll down to about 40 million.  Expect Luis Castillio and Paul La Duca to be on different teams come the start of the 2006 season.

people dont want lo duca b/c he usually falls off the 2nd half of the season.  His bat falls asleep come the 2nd half of the season, and that is when a lot of people start to run on him.  As a mets fan i wouldnt mind Lo Duca but i rather see ramon hernadez or bring piazza back.

The Mets did get kind of screwed in this deal & apparently a lot of GMs around the league agree. Reason being is that the Mets were the only tem in the Delgado sweepstakes & they end up giving their best pitching prospect. The Mets shouldn't have done that cause the feeling around the league is that the Mets could've gotten Delgado cheaper from the Marlins cause the Mets were doing a service for the Marlins in taking on all of Delgado's contract. It's good that the Mets have added another bat in theline up but they didn't have to give up what they did to get Delgado

1B Related.  The Dodgers are either thinking about keeping Aybar or Choi.  Whoever they choose will dictate what FA or Future Trade will be coming to the team.  The answer should be Choi.

he had a down year last year, but if he can pull off a year like he had 2-3 before last, I'd take hm over Bradley any day

Bradley is just a .260 hitter who might hit 25 homers.......... and obviously he's got a screw loose and he pulls the race card  ;D

I used to like Bradley even when he acted like an idiot but that shit this year proves he'll never learn his lesson

i think the Marlins ar erumoured to be moving outta Florida by 2008 because they want their own stadium and they cant get it, so they're lookin for a new home.

yusmerio petit... a lot of scouts have him as a 4th started at best.  He has average stuff but he is dominating the minors b/c he has a deceptive delivery.  Once he gets to the bigs he will get figured out.  He does have good comand of his pitches and good control but none of his pitches will make you say wow.  Plus we have  3 other pitching prospects that scouts have higher ceiling on, pelfry, humber, and gaby hernandez.  Plus brian banister isnt to shabby himself.  Also the marlins agreed to pay 7 million of Delgado's contract.  The mets arent paying the whole thing.
