I see it at Amazon and Ebay once in a while....guess its still kindda rare though

I wouldn't say it was rare. I own it on cassette. CLASSIC for sure. If you grew up in LA in the mid-late 80's you'd remember KDAY playing that shit in heavy rotation. I even remember Yo MTV Raps playing King T's "Bass" video from that album.

Great classic early west coast sound. One of my favorites.

its pretty hard to get hold of these days..took me ages to find a copy.. thank god i've got the full king tee set now :)

That's some dope stuff. "Got It Locked" isn't on the album is it?

it was on the original tracklist, but it wasnt on the copy they released years later.. probably due to aftermath/interscope having already released it. there was a video for got it locked too.

I've never been able to track down a copy of this album, I've got his other ones though.

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
