on one hand, I think that the whole thing may have been an attempt to generate publicity for Snoop and Game's then imminent "How the West was One" tour
i agree with everything
My own opinion is dis---The west coast conference is not about Snoop helping everybody on d west, its about niggaz putting their beefs aside and doing good music, look for opportunities in industry, way to get those opportunity and someone like glass is doing that,40 glocc is with g-unit,spider id there too,so some are doing bussinees already,Snoop said it--him and Dre cant help everybody on d west. And on the tookie situation i bet its tookie's people and atorney that will come up with d plot of snoop doing rally for him coz he's a celebrity and will get peoples attention(i dont see snoop trying hard to get recognition as a gang member now,he's way past that)I think west coast artist need to get their hustle on and stop concentrating on beefs. And if you care to ask me,i will tell you snoop has given a lot of west coast artist opportunities to shine,50% of d artist i know from west is tru snoop.so its up to them to hustle their way up from there. And remember snoop is just a rapper, not a producer and bussiness man like dre & co.thats my view man

But thats just what i think. As far as Snoop giving West Coast cats opportunities that isnt true neither that only people i heard from him were the east sidaz. Again thats just my outlook on the whole situation.well thats my view.sorry but for me the people i heard from snoop are eastsidaz, bad azz, soopafly, doggy's angel, lil c style, butch cassidy,daz,e-white..e.t.c

Snoop can't help every new artist on the West Coast. He is, after all, only one man. However, Snoop should have known his limitations when he announced the conference. If he had no intention of working with these cats, or couldn't make the time to do so, then he shouldn't have made so many statements saying that he would. If you're an up-and-coming rapper from anywhere in the world, imagine how excited you would be at the prospect of working with an icon like Snoop. I'm sure that there must have been a few rappers who felt that way, only to be left disappointed to see the Western Conference didn't necessarily benefit their situation. In the same way that some have gone on to say what a good thing the summit was, others have implied that it may have been either for Snoop's personal gain or a publicity stunt. As for Spider and 40 working with G-Unit, you've got to remember that isn't necessarily a show of West Coast unity being that G-Unit is an East Coast driven clique. I see what you're saying though, and it's good to see some West Coast rappers get a powerhouse label behind them. However, that comes at a cost. We've now seen those pics of 40 wearing a ''Game Over'' T-Shirt after all, and wasn't Jayo meant to have Snoop and Game on his first single back when he was signed to Treacherous? Can't see that happening now...Snoop and Dre can't help everyone. That much is true. But it seem like, unless you're affiliated with a star like Snoop, Dre, or now The Game, you have to work a hundred times harder to get your name out there. That's why I was a bit disappointed in The Game on "120", as he didn't congratulate Glasses but instead said how pissed he got for G. Malone "misusing" his logo...As I said originally, I'm still in two minds. What I am certain about, is that more should have been done to push this movement - and not just by Snoop.INTRESTING,FEEL YOU ON THAT
