Newly Signed to DEF JAM Artist)))
« on: December 03, 2005, 12:50:33 AM »

Recently signed to Def Jam, after LA Reid simply wouldn't let them leave the
Def Jam building, hip-hop duo 334 MO.B.B., with its passionate and introspective
song writing, unique flows and compelling production style, is set to emerge as
the definitive movement of southern streets. Brothers Supa Star, 21, and
Sawed-off, 18, hail from Montgomery, AL. The brothers have been honing their
musical talents for over a decade since their father formed a singing gospel
group in the 1994. Over the last eleven years, Supa Star and Sawed-off have
emerged as some of the most skilled young artists, songwriters and producers in
the country. With clever and sophisticated lyrics and flawless production, theM
O.B.B.'s versatility is startling. "We don't want to be pigeonholed as rappers,"
says Supa Star. "We want to do it all, from performing to writing to production.
We're gonna shake things up in the hip hop game." Without help from a major
label, 334 MO.B.B. has worked with star artists including Bone Crusher and David
Banner. Working with Bone Crusher and Banner, 334 MO.B.B. set the mixtape world
afire with their single "I Aint A Killa". DJ's across the country including, DJ
Jelly, DJ Chuck T, DJ Cee Jay, DJ Judgmental, Down South, featured the single on
their highly circulated mixtapes. While blazing mixtapes with their freestyles
and orignal material, 334 M.O.B.B. has also hosted mix CD's with some of the
country's most popular DJs. The duo was featured on Atlanta's own HOT 107.9 Coco
Brothers (We Are the ATL Vol.1) with a song titled "The Wicked Church". 334
MO.B.B has performed along side Outkast, Lil Jon, and T.I. and will appear on a
nationwide tour with Nappy Roots this fall. In addition they will be dropping
their first official single called "Take A Picture" and completing their first
official full length album. "We just wanna spread our sound throughout the
world" says Sawed-off. Judging from the response 334 M.O.B.B. has received in
the highly influential South, the two brothers are off to a great start.
